ACER 2012 Work Programme: progressing on the internal market while preparing for new critical market monitoring responsibilities

In 2012 ACER will continue delivering on key elements for the completion of the Internal Energy Market in 2014 such as framework guidelines and network codes, 10-year network development plans, cross-border congestion management, Regional Initiatives and Regional Workplans.

The Agency also included in its 2012 Work Programme the preparatory work which the Agency will have to carry out in order to be able to fulfil its new responsibilities in monitoring wholesale energy trading under REMIT. A complex, delicate but important task benefiting all market participants and end-consumers.
